Prachinburi is located some 134 kilometers from Bangkok. It occupies an area of 11,957.5 square kilometers and is administratively divided into seven Amphoes : 
Muang, Ban Sang, Kabin Buri, Na Di, Prachantakham, Si Maha Phot and Si Mahosot.

- From Bangkok, follow Route 1 turn onto Route 33 until reaching Route 319, is 164 km
- From Bangkok, follow Route 304 via Chachoengsao/Phanom Sarakham then turn onto Route 319, is 158 km. 

By Bus 
Buses leave the Northern Bus Terminal(Morchit) (Tel: 272-0229 & 272-0330) commencing at 5.00 A.M.
unit 9.00 P.M. throughout the day.

*Air-conditioned cost 75 Baht 

By Train 
Trains leave fro Bangkok Railway Station (Hualamphong)

Festivals & Events

May / June 
Fruit Festival
Held in May / June, this festival has a fruit and agricultural produce fair. There are exhibitions and competitions of fruit and vegetables, as well as demonstrations of various agricultural activities.

 

September 
Long-boat Racing Held in September on the Bangpakong River. Various categories of long-boats compete for the Princess' Cup.
